What is it?
The hashtag print station is something we came up with in response to the explosion of Instagram at weddings. For the majority of weddings we are at, we see guests tagging their pictures with the bride and groom’s wedding hashtag and we thought “wouldn’t it be cool to get a print of those pictures on the spot?” So we asked around and many of our former clients thought it would be cool too! A little bit of technical finagling later and the hashtag print station was born! This nifty little setup will scan Instagram and Twitter for anything with your hashtag, then print them out in real time as they’re put online. Of course, we keep that first copy aside for you, the bride and groom, but guests can come up and ask for any of the pictures that have been posted and the attendant will reprint them! We’ve also tied in a display screen so that as pictures are posted, we have them in a live-updating slideshow right next to the printer! Instead of guests having their nose stuck in a phone all night, looking for which pictures they want, they’re all right there for everyone to see. Pretty cool! And, if your venue has a giant, wall sized projector they let you use, we can tie into that to throw the slide show up even bigger!
Our print station includes 5 hours of all-inclusive service. That means we will have an attendant on site to manage the printer and make sure the event goes smoothly. We offer unlimited pictures, so your guests can go back again and again! We offer the ability to customize your pictures any way you’d like, with your name and wedding date, the ability to add monograms and overlays in your wedding colors! You can even customize the print overlay yourself in photo shop! The possibilities are endless!

Just like our DJ services, we believe in offering a quality product at a great price with no hidden fees. Our print station is $399 for 5 hours all-inclusive if you use us for DJ services as well. And it’s only $499 standalone for 5 hours. We also offer a “idle hour” for $30 if you would like to shut it down for a bit (say for dinner) and extend the station to 6 hours. Everything else is included–an attendant, unlimited pics and no charge for customization.
When the event is over we can send you a Google Drive folder with all images taken, just like with the photo booth! So if you happen to get a great picture of grandma & grandpa you can have that individual picture printed in a larger size–and YOU own the rights to the pictures!
Guestbooks and Props
If you’d like to create a guestbook/scrap book for your event the hashtag print station is the perfect way to do that! Since we keep the first copies aside for you, we are more than happy to put them into a scrap book. Other people want copies as well? No problem. We hit a button and it reprints more copies of the picture!
We don’t, however, offer scrap books for you. We’d rather you go to a store and purchase a book you are happy with than charge you an inflated price for a book you don’t like. The same is applied to props–no one wants to use props that have been used over and over again by hundreds of people. So if you’d like props at your event we encourage you to visit a store like Party City and buy a bunch of inexpensive, disposable props for your event.
We only have one print station, and when it’s booked it’s booked! It generally books six months to a year in advance for Saturday weddings, so contact us today!
